Find YOUR TOPIC when you have multiple interests

€30

In this guided exercise, you will identify and name the ONE topic that aggregates your interests.

Some people have a North Star – a single purpose, intention, or direction that guides their journey.

Others have a Southern Cross Constellation – a group of (apparently) scattered interests with a hidden force bringing them all together.

If you are a Southern Cross person, this guided exercise might be for you.

Is the Find Your Southern Cross right for you?

1. Have you been considering research, but are unsure about your topic?

You are keen to learn and research, but you have been advised to abandon most of your interests and pursue just one – as if our minds work that way!

Meanwhile, time is slipping by, and you haven't really started.

2. Have you begun research, but find yourself working on your multiple interests as "side projects"?

You have compromised by choosing one of your interests as your "official topic" – the one you put in the calendar, assign tasks to, and report on (whether to your audience or your boss). However, you continue to read, study, and research all other things you are passionate about as "side projects".

You feel frustrated because your research seems to be going nowhere; you can't stop thinking about your multiple interests, yet you also can't allocate enough time for them.

3. Have you been researching for a while, but can’t come up with a topic that unifies your body of work?

You have explored multiple topics at various depths. While fulfilling, your body of work still feels somewhat "scattered".

You feel disheartened that you don't have a unified body of work to share with others and be recognised for.

This guided exercise was developed to help you:

1. Identify the topic that unifies your interests

Defining a topic that unifies your various interests provides clarity on what you are aiming to study and how your multiple interests contribute to it.

In this guided exercise, I will help you use sensemaking strategies to develop a clear description of what that unified topic looks like.

2. Create a name for your topic

Naming your topic helps you effectively communicate it to others and gain recognition for your work.

In this guided exercise, I will assist you in identifying a descriptive name for your topic and encourage you to create a new simplified name for it (if a name doesn't already exist).

What is the refund policy?

This guided exercise follows a 'no impulse buying' policy.

That means if you happen to have purchased on an 'impulse' and regretted it up to 5 days later. Let me know via contact@biancapereira.me and I will issue you a full refund.

No refunds are given after 5 days.

Do you provide lifetime access?

Is it my lifetime? Your lifetime? The exercise platform’s lifetime?

I don't like to promise "lifetime" access to anything because it is hard for me to envision when a product will be discontinued and vague for you at the time of purchase.

Instead, I prefer to provide a fixed date for access to the product. You will have access to this guided exercise for 2 years counting from the date of your purchase.

That means I commit I will provide you access for 2 years so you don’t need to care about it being discontinued. But also, in 2 years you most likely won’t need (or care) about this guided exercise anyway. You will have outgrown it already.
